About Us
"A circle of connection, expanding from a local temple"
madocaproject provides professional support for mental and physical health. Run by mental health experts, including psychologists and professional counselors, we are dedicated to supporting your experience.
Our base is at Narihirasan Nanzoin Temple (Shibarare Jizo) in Katsushika Ward. Utilizing this unique environment, we provide programs centered on "Learn, Feel, and Speak"—a sensory experience designed to bring people together.
Origin of the Name
The name madoca (円) derives from the Zen concept of Enso (円相) —a circle that acts as a mirror to the heart. It also reflects a linguistic connection: in Japanese, the character for circle (円) is read as "EN", the same sound as the word for connection (縁).
Like a window opening to new light, we connect people and society. madocaproject strives to turn every connection into a new possibility for the way we live.
Message from the Founder
At the core of our mission is the desire to contribute to a society where people connect and support one another. Drawing on specialized knowledge in Religious Studies, Medicine, Philosophy, Cultural Anthropology, Art, and Thanatology, we transcend disciplinary boundaries to build these relationships. We aim to provide a wide range of activities for everyone from children to adults—ranging from medical and clinical practice to educational workshops and charitable work.
